An important election is coming up. It’s time to vote for SUCCESS. STRENGTH. STABILITY.
Our voice is now stronger than ever. I have the runs on the board to keep achieving better industrial and professional outcomes for you and the community we serve. 
Together we have pushed hard and achieved these outstanding results:

  • 23% award rate rise for Care Workers in Aged Care and staffing ratios 

  • Stronger Work Safety Laws

  • 50 extra metro ED staff

  • Regional Hospital Security Guards

  • Junior staff mentoring funding

  • Ministerial direction to appoint staff to permanency

I’ve got your back, and together there is much more to be done including your next Agreement and current negotiations for:

  • Staffing ratios

  • Rural and remote allowances

Under my leadership, ANMF SA’s membership has grown by 120 per cent to 24,500 members, with membership fee freezes in most categories for three consecutive years.
I have also introduced and enhanced numerous key membership benefits including:

  • Journey Accident Insurance

  • Free online CPD

About Me

I have served as CEO/Secretary of the ANMF SA since 2008 and have a proud track record of fighting for the betterment of our industry.

​

Before I came to the ANMF, I worked as a Personal Care Assistant in Aged Care, a RN in metropolitan and country SA and as a solicitor at DBH Lawyers. I have qualifications in nursing, education, leadership, management and law, and I am a fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

 

To me, the safety, respect, resources and recognition of our members are of the greatest importance and I will continue to fight for these principles so you can continue to care for the community you serve.

The ANMF SA is made strong by a fantastic Leadership Team, who I  work closely with on a daily basis. Together, we continue to push for the industrial and professional outcomes that keep our industry moving forward.
